Location was perfect right in the heart of the busy old Santa Cruz area of Seville with varied short walks through many narrow cobbled stone streets & tight paths opening out onto atmospheric courtyards & plazas usually filled with heavily laden orange & lemon trees down into the centre, dominated by the huge historic Cathedral y Giralda and many more architecturally impressive & colourful buildings, free or cheap to visit and enter in most instances...Reales Alcazar Palace & Gardens a must, simply stunning (perhaps not the easiest place to gain entry though...you will need proof of I.D.). We enjoy walking and exploring ourselves but the open top double decker sight-seeing buses are worth travelling on to get an initial overview and orientation of all the main districts together with a brief audio history before deciding where you want to allocate your time for more in-depth discovery. Our hotel was a mini reflection of the surrounding area, colourfully painted buildings, open planted suntrap courtyards fed by a warren of tight stone and terracotta paths, walkways & mysterious tunnels of discovery, loved it. A large cave-like spa facility is available under the hotel whilst above great views across the city and sun-lounging on the extensive roof top terraces with a swimming pool too. Our 1st floor apartment was well appointed, big comfortable bed with a large fully tiled stone bathroom, large vanity his & hers washbasins, large shower enclosure, jacuzzi bath, toilet & bidet, maintained and cleaned daily. We kept it to 'room only' always preferring to find & eat breakfast, lunch & dinner out; Seville has a lifetimes worth of cafes, bars and restaurants to experience.

Hotel Las Casas de la Juderia review Amazing hotel in the heart of the jewish quarter is Sevilla. I’ve been in many hotels around the world and this one is absolutely fantastic. It’s like travelling back in the time a couple of centuries to the odd Sevilla. The hotel has different old houses and palaces from odd noble families Connected to each other by patios, gardens and underground tunnels . Every room is different to the others and decorated with an unique taste ,keeping the original style of the 19 century.I have to remark that my room was super clean and cosy. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful since the first moment I came in. And not to forget the piano bar ,situated on the first floor above the reception;four rooms decorated in a true 19 century stule with original forniture and amazing paintings. An awesome music proffesor will make your evening complete playing great music on an old piano.Simply fantastic. And not to forget the two “old school” waiters,Alan and Manuel ,always friendly and they will have a little chat with you as well. I shall recommend this fantastic hotel, full of history and charm, to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

An exceptional stay and perhaps my favourite hotel I have EVER stayed in. Fantastic location, easy walking distance to everything I had planned. Photos don't do the hotel justice, it really is stunning and you feel like you're on a movie set, with lots of water features, plants and antiques. Room was great, I was upgraded. Really clean, affordable mini bar, great facilities, TV with Netflix etc. Really comfortable beds. Safe, laundry service and plenty of toiletries. Staff were brilliant. From check-in, during stay and check-out a completely fantastic service. Everyone I encountered whether they were receptionist team, porters, maintenance or housekeeping - they all greeted me pleasantly during my stay and couldn't do enough for me. As a female solo traveller I felt nothing but safe, welcome and happy. Will absolutely recommend to others and hope to return some day!

Absolutely stunning, unique hotel full of beautiful courtyards and secret tunnels. We were still finding new places we hadn't been on the last day of our trip. The rooms are individualistic, historical but very comfortable, even the economy rooms. The piano bar is a must, with luxurious rooms providing a nice quiet place to relax after the noise of the local bars. The pool area was great on a hot day with plenty of shade blinds but beware the pool is not heated and it takes a while to get used to the cold, yet refreshing water.

Location, location, location. This is truly one special hotel that is made up of numerous buildings, all inter-connected by a labyrinth-like floor plan in the basement. We felt like detectives finding our way back to our room every time we returned to the hotel. We laughed every time—the “underground map” we received upon check-in was not much help. Which kind of added to the charm of the whole experience. By our second full day at the hotel, we were pros at finding our way back to our room.
